Sending a Message
Type your message in the input bar at the bottom of the screen and press Enter to send it. Torki responds in real-time with streaming text, so you will see the response appear word by word as it is generated. There is no need to wait for the full response to load.
Stopping a Response
If Torki is generating a response and you want to interrupt it, click the Stop button that appears below the message. The response will end at whatever point it has reached, and you can continue the conversation from there.
Message Actions
Every AI response includes a set of action buttons that appear when you hover over or tap the message:
- Copy — Copy the entire response to your clipboard with one click.
- Regenerate — Ask Torki to generate a new response to the same message. Useful if the first answer was not quite what you wanted.
- Like / Dislike — Rate the response with a thumbs up or thumbs down. This helps improve Torki over time.
Tips for Great Results
- Be specific about what you need. Instead of "help me with code," try "write a Python function that sorts a list of dictionaries by the 'name' key."
- Provide context when it matters. If you are working on a specific project or have constraints, mention them upfront.
- Use follow-up messages to refine. You can say "make it shorter," "add error handling," or "explain that differently."
- Switch AI modes for different tasks. Use Pulse for quick answers and Cosmos for deep analysis or code generation.
