Setting Up Google Drive
Connect Google Drive to search, create, and manage documents through Torki.
- Go to Settings → Connectors
- Find Google Drive and click Connect
- Sign in with your Google account
- Grant the requested Drive permissions
What You Can Do
Once connected, you can interact with your Google Drive through natural conversation:
- Search files — "Find my project proposal document" or "Search for files about quarterly report"
- List recent files — "Show my recent Google Drive files" or "What did I last work on in Drive?"
- Create documents — "Create a new Google Doc called Meeting Notes" or "Make a document with this outline"
- Edit documents — "Add a new section to my project plan" or "Update the introduction in my report"
Permissions and Scope
Torki uses the drive.file scope, which means it can only access files that you explicitly interact with through Torki, plus files it creates. It does not have blanket access to your entire Drive. This is a privacy-conscious approach that gives you control over which files Torki can see.
You can disconnect Google Drive at any time from the Connectors settings page, which immediately revokes all access.
