Understanding AI Modes

1 min read

Torki offers four AI modes, each tuned for different types of tasks. You can switch modes at any time using the mode selector next to the chat input bar.

Pulse — Fast & Direct

Pulse is optimized for speed. It gives concise, direct answers to straightforward questions. Use it for quick lookups, simple explanations, and short tasks where you do not need extensive detail. Responses are typically 1-3 sentences for simple questions.

Orbit — Balanced

Orbit is the default everyday mode. It provides thorough, detailed responses with step-by-step explanations when needed. Orbit enables thinking mode, so Torki considers multiple angles before responding. Great for most general tasks.

Stellar — Deep Thinking

Stellar is built for complex problem-solving. It uses extended thinking to break down difficult problems, show reasoning, and deliver well-analyzed answers. Use it for research, technical questions, and multi-step analysis.

Cosmos — Maximum Intelligence

Cosmos is Torki at full power. It provides the most comprehensive, detailed responses possible, analyzing from multiple angles with the largest context window. Choose Cosmos for code generation, in-depth research, complex technical work, and any task where thoroughness matters most.
