Overview

Torki Code is the coding agent inside Torki AI for Mac. Open a project, ask in plain language, and it reads the code, plans, edits files, runs commands and tests, and tells you what it did.

What it needs

A Mac with Apple Silicon (M1 or later) running macOS 11 or later. There is no Windows, Linux or Intel Mac version.

Get started

1. Download Torki AI for Mac

Get it from the downloads page, open the .dmg and drag Torki AI into Applications.

2. Sign in

The app opens your browser so you can sign in to your Torki account, then hands you back to the app.

3. Open a project

Switch to Torki Code in the sidebar and open a project folder.

How it is metered

  • Messages: each request you send costs one message from your plan's 5-hour allowance, however many steps the agent takes for it.
  • Steps: a step is one model call the agent makes. One message allows up to 200 steps; if a task needs more, send a follow-up to keep going.
  • Daily steps: Settings → Usage → Torki Code steps shows the steps used today. Each plan has a daily figure — Free 25, Lite 100, Arc 300, Zenith 800 — that resets at 00:00 UTC. While the page says "counted, not limited yet", steps are only counted.
  • Up to 8 Torki Code requests can run at once per account.

Good to know

There is no separate subscription: Torki Code uses your Torki plan. Pulse and Orbit work on every plan; Stellar and Cosmos need Lite or above. Edits and commands run on your Mac; for each step, what the agent read or ran for the task is sent to Torki's own models on Torki's servers. Nothing is uploaded or indexed up front.

FAQ

Does Torki Code work on Windows?

Not yet. Windows is listed as "Coming Soon" on the downloads page; today Torki Code needs an Apple Silicon Mac.

Do I need an API key?

No. Torki Code signs in with your ordinary Torki account.
