Managing Your Connectors

1 min read

Viewing Your Connections

Go to Settings → Connectors to see all available connectors and their status. A green dot next to a connector means it is currently connected and active. Disconnected connectors show a Connect button.

Connecting a Service

To connect a new service, click the Connect button next to it. You will be redirected to the service provider's sign-in page (Google, Microsoft, etc.) where you grant Torki the necessary permissions. After authorization, you are redirected back to Torki and the connector becomes active immediately.

Disconnecting a Service

To disconnect a service, go to Settings → Connectors and click Disconnect next to the active connector. This immediately revokes Torki's access. Your data on the external service is not affected; Torki simply loses the ability to interact with it.

Token Refresh

Connectors use OAuth tokens to authenticate with external services. These tokens expire periodically, but Torki handles automatic token refresh behind the scenes. You should not need to reconnect unless you explicitly revoke access from the external service's settings.

Permissions (Scopes)

Each connector requests only the minimum permissions needed:

  • Google Calendar — Read and write calendar events
  • Google Drive & Sheets — Access only files you interact with through Torki or that Torki creates (drive.file scope)
  • Microsoft — OneDrive files, Outlook mail, and Outlook calendar

Torki never requests more access than it needs, and you can review the exact permissions during the connection process.
