What Is Shadow?
Shadow is Torki's browser automation feature currently in beta. It lets Torki control a browser on your behalf to perform tasks on the web — filling forms, navigating websites, extracting information, and completing multi-step workflows that would normally require you to click through multiple pages.
How It Works
When you ask Torki to do something that requires interacting with a website, Shadow launches a sandboxed browser session. You can watch Torki navigate in real-time as it performs the steps needed to complete your request. The browser runs on Torki's servers, not on your device.
What Shadow Can Do
- Navigate websites and fill out forms
- Extract information from web pages
- Perform multi-step tasks across different pages
- Take screenshots and report what it finds
Beta Status
Shadow is currently in beta, which means it is available for testing but may not work perfectly in all situations. Complex websites with heavy JavaScript, CAPTCHAs, or login requirements may present challenges. We are continuously improving Shadow's capabilities.

Shadow tasks count toward your daily usage limits. Check the Usage Limits article for details on how limits work and when they reset.
