Toolkit & Connectors
Connecting GitHub, Notion, Linear and More
Overview
Besides Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, the Toolkit connects to eight apps: GitHub, Notion, Linear, Jira & Confluence, Todoist, Airtable, Box and Sentry. Each connects with a single sign-in and brings its own set of tools; the app's page shows how many as "Connected · N tools".
What it needs
These apps can be connected on every plan, including Free. You need your own account with the app, and Jira & Confluence needs an Atlassian site.
Get started
1. Open the app's page
Go to Toolkit → Connectors and click the app, or type its name in Search apps…. The status pill reads "Available to connect".
2. Connect
Click Connect. You are taken to the app's own sign-in page — "you sign in on {app}'s own page; Torki never sees your password" — where you approve what Torki asks for.
3. Check the tools
You come back to the Toolkit with the app open and a "{App} connected" message. The pill now reads "Connected · N tools", and a Tool permissions section lists each tool with a Read or Write tag.
4. Ask
Ask in plain language, naming the app if it helps: "What Linear issues are assigned to me?", "Add 'renew passport' to my Todoist". Anything that writes shows an approval card first.
The apps
GitHub
Developer. Issues, pull requests, code, and repos. Torki asks GitHub for access to your repositories, read access to your organisations, and your profile and email address.
Notion
Notes & Docs. Search, read, and update your Notion workspace.
Linear
Project Management. Create & manage issues, projects, and cycles. Two official skills use it: Capture to Linear and Weekly status report.
Jira & Confluence
Project Management. Work with Jira issues and Confluence pages. You need an Atlassian account with a site; without one there is nothing for Torki to connect to.
Todoist
Tasks. Add, complete, and organize your to-dos. The official Plan my week skill reads your Todoist tasks when Todoist is connected.
Airtable
Database. Read and update your Airtable bases.
Box
File Storage. Search and work with your Box content.
Sentry
Developer. Investigate errors, issues, and releases.
Good to know
Each app decides which tools it offers, and Torki treats a tool as a write unless the app marks it as read-only. Some apps offer a long list; set anything you never want used to Never in Toolkit → Permissions, or on the app's own page.
Your access token for these apps is stored encrypted.
Disconnecting
Open the app in Toolkit → Connectors and click Disconnect, then confirm "Disconnect {App}?". Torki deletes its stored token and clears that app's tool permissions. Nothing is revoked on the app's side — to remove the grant there too, remove Torki from the app's own list of connected apps.
Not available yet
Slack, Dropbox, HubSpot and Asana are listed with Soon and cannot be connected yet. Canva is listed too, but its page explains "Canva currently limits MCP access to approved partner apps." There are no dates.
Gmail is not supported. Torki cannot connect to a Gmail inbox.
FAQ
The Connect button is missing on an app.
That app is Soon. Its status pill reads "Coming soon".
Why does an app ask for approval for something that only reads?
The app did not mark that tool as read-only, so Torki treats it as a write. If you are comfortable with it, press Always allow on the card or set the tool to Always.
I connected Jira and nothing works.
Jira & Confluence needs an Atlassian site. Check that the account you signed in with belongs to one.
When will Slack be available?
There is no date. It stays marked Soon until it can be connected.
