Toolkit & Connectors
The Toolkit
Overview
The Toolkit is where you connect your apps, switch skills on and off, and decide what Torki is allowed to do in each app. Its header sums it up: "Connect your apps, build skills, and control exactly what Torki can do."
What it needs
The Toolkit, Skills and tool permissions are on every plan, including Free. Microsoft 365 is included from Lite upward.
Get started
1. Open it
Click Toolkit in the sidebar — it sits under New Chat and Search. When the sidebar is collapsed it is the toolbox icon.
2. Pick a tab
Three tabs run across the top:
- Connectors — every app you can connect, with a page for each that says what it can do and lets you connect or disconnect it.
- Skills — the Skills Library of ready-made playbooks, plus any skills you write yourself.
- Permissions — every tool from every app you have connected, each set to Always, Ask or Never.
The address keeps the tab you are on, so a link to /app/toolkit?p=permissions opens Permissions directly.
3. Connect your first app
On Connectors, click an app on the left to open its page on the right, then click Connect. You sign in on the app's own page and come straight back. If nothing is selected, the right side says "Select an app to view what it can do and set permissions."
On a narrow screen the app's page takes over the whole width, with a back arrow to return to the list.
The Toolkit and Settings
Settings still has Connectors and Skills tabs. Settings → Skills is the same screen as Toolkit → Skills. Settings → Connectors is a shorter list with Connect and Disconnect buttons only; app pages and tool permissions are in the Toolkit alone.

FAQ
I cannot see Toolkit in the sidebar.
It is the third item, under New Chat and Search. If the sidebar is collapsed, hover the toolbox icon.
Does connecting an app let Torki act on its own?
No. Torki uses an app when you ask for something that needs it, and anything that writes asks for your approval first unless you have set that tool to Always.
Is there a Permissions tab in Settings?
No. Tool permissions are only in the Toolkit, and on each connected app's page.
