Delete Your Account

OVERVIEW

This page explains how to delete your Torki AI account and the personal data associated with it. Torki AI is operated by TORKEHUB PRIVATE LIMITED (doing business as Torki AI).

You can delete your account in two ways: directly inside the app, or by emailing our support team. Both permanently delete your account and personal data, as described below. This page is public and does not require you to sign in.

DELETE IN THE APP

The fastest way to delete your account is from within Torki AI:

  1. Open Torki AI and go to Settings → Account.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and select Delete Account.
  3. On the mobile app, we email a one-time verification code (OTP) to the address on your account; enter it to confirm.
  4. Once you confirm, your account and personal data are permanently deleted and you are signed out.

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Before you start, export your chats from Settings → Data Controls (JSON, Markdown, TXT, or PDF) and save any Canvas projects you want to keep.

REQUEST BY EMAIL

If you cannot access the app, you can ask us to delete your account and data by email:

  • Email support@torkiai.com from the email address associated with your Torki AI account.
  • Use the subject line “Delete my account” and include your account email so we can verify the request.

We verify your identity before acting on any request, and we confirm by email once it is complete. Email deletion requests are completed within 30 days.

WHAT IS DELETED

When your account is deleted, we permanently delete the personal data we hold about you, including:

  • Account & profile: your name, email address, password, and profile details.
  • Sign-in credentials: passkeys and any linked Google, Microsoft, and Apple sign-in connections.
  • Chats & content: all conversations and messages, Canvas projects, uploaded files, and images you generated.
  • Memory & personalization: saved memories and personalization data.
  • Connected accounts: connectors you authorized (for example Google or Microsoft) — access is revoked and stored tokens are deleted.
  • Usage & preferences: your settings, preferences, and usage records.
  • Device data: push-notification tokens and device registrations.

TIMEFRAME

Deletion is permanent and irreversible. The timelines are:

  • In the app: when you confirm deletion in the Torki AI mobile app, your account and personal data are deleted immediately. You are signed out and the account cannot be recovered.
  • By email: we complete deletion within 30 days of verifying your request.
  • Backups: any residual copies in our encrypted backups are removed within 90 days.

WHAT WE MAY RETAIN

We may retain a limited amount of information for longer where required or permitted by law — for example, records needed for tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, security, or legal-compliance purposes. Where we retain such information, we keep only what is necessary and delete or anonymize it once it is no longer required. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
