Setting Up Google Calendar
Connect your Google Calendar so Torki can read your schedule and create events on your behalf.
- Go to Settings → Connectors
- Find Google Calendar and click Connect
- Sign in with your Google account in the popup window
- Grant the requested calendar permissions
Once connected, a green dot appears next to Google Calendar in your Connectors list, indicating it is active.
What You Can Do
With Google Calendar connected, you can ask Torki natural language questions and commands like:
- Read events — "What meetings do I have today?" or "Show my schedule for next week" or "Am I free on Thursday afternoon?"
- Create events — "Schedule a team meeting at 3pm tomorrow" or "Create a dentist appointment for Friday at 10am"
Confirmation for Changes
Torki always asks for your confirmation before creating, modifying, or deleting calendar events. When you request a change, Torki shows you the details of what it plans to do and asks you to confirm before proceeding. This prevents accidental modifications to your schedule.
Permissions
Torki requests access to read and write calendar events. It does not access other Google services through this connection. You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from the Connectors settings, which immediately revokes access.
