Uploading Files
You can attach files to any message by clicking the paperclip icon in the input bar, or by dragging and dropping files directly onto the chat window. The maximum file size is 50MB per file.
Supported File Formats
Torki can process a wide range of file types:
- Documents — PDF, DOCX (Word), TXT, and other text formats. Torki extracts the full text content for analysis.
- Spreadsheets — XLSX (Excel) and CSV files. Torki reads the data and can help you analyze, summarize, or transform it.
- Images — PNG, JPG, GIF, WebP, and other image formats. Torki uses vision capabilities to understand and describe image content.
- Code files — JavaScript, Python, PHP, HTML, CSS, and 50+ programming languages. Torki can review, debug, explain, or refactor your code.
How File Analysis Works
When you attach a document, Torki automatically extracts the text content so it can understand and discuss the file. For images, Torki uses vision processing to analyze visual content. You can then ask questions about the file, request summaries, ask for edits, or use the file as context for your conversation.
Tips for Best Results
- For large documents, ask specific questions rather than requesting a summary of the entire file.
- When uploading spreadsheets, mention which sheet or columns you are interested in.
- You can upload multiple files in a single message for comparative analysis.
- Files attached to a project chat also benefit from the project's custom instructions and context.
