Torki API
API Credit, Billing and Invoices
Overview
The Torki API is prepaid. You buy credit packs on Torki Platform, each request is paid from that credit, and every purchase gets a tax invoice. Credit belongs to the organization and is shared by every workspace and key.
Credit packs
| Credit | Price in USD | Price in INR (18% GST included) | Discount |
|---|---|---|---|
| $10 | $10 | ₹850 | — |
| $25 | $25 | ₹2,100 | — |
| $100 | $95 | ₹7,980 | 5% |
| $500 | $450 | ₹37,800 | 10% |
Credit never expires. Whichever currency you pay in, you get the pack's dollar value in credit.
Buy credit
1. Open Billing
In Torki Platform, open the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar and choose Settings, then Billing. The menu's Add funds link goes straight there.
2. Add your billing details
You do this once, before your first purchase. Click Add billing details and fill in:
- Who is paying? — Business, Individual, Non-profit, Academic, Government or Other.
- Legal name (or Full name), exactly as it should appear on invoices, and your Country and Address.
- GSTIN (optional) for an Indian business, so you can claim input tax credit, or a VAT or tax ID (optional) elsewhere.
- How will you use the Torki API? — Internal, External or Both.
- Billing email (optional) — invoices and receipts go there; leave it empty to use the owner's email.
3. Pick a pack and pay
Under Add funds, pick a pack, check the Total due and click Pay. Credit is added once your payment is confirmed, usually within seconds.
Your country decides the currency. An address in India pays in rupees, with 18% GST included and shown on the invoice. Everywhere else pays in US dollars.
Invoices
Every purchase is listed under Payments and invoices on the Billing page, with an Invoice PDF.
- A purchase in rupees gets a GST tax invoice from TORKEHUB PRIVATE LIMITED.
- A purchase in dollars gets an invoice from TorkeHub Inc.
- Promotional credit from Torki has no invoice.
To change what is printed on future invoices, click Edit next to Billing details.
How credit is spent
- A request starts only if your credit covers its estimated cost: the prompt plus about 1,024 output tokens (at least $0.001). On Stellar and Cosmos it must cover the prompt plus the whole thinking budget, about $0.27 on Stellar and $0.49 on Cosmos at list price. You are charged only for what is produced.
- The real cost is charged after the response, so a balance can dip slightly below zero. The next request is then refused with
402until you add funds. - Promotional credit from Torki is spent before credit you bought.
Spend limits
Your usage tier caps what your organization can spend each calendar month (UTC): $10 on Evaluation, $100 on Tier 1, $500 on Tier 2 and $2,000 on Tier 3. Under that cap you can set your own lower limit in Monthly spend limit on the Billing page; Use tier maximum puts it back to the cap. Each workspace can have a lower limit still. Changes apply to the next request.
- Past your own limit (organization or workspace):
400 usage_limit_reacheduntil the 1st of the month, 00:00 UTC, or until you raise the limit. - Past your tier's cap:
429 spend_cap_reached, with noretry-after. Buying credit moves you up a tier, which raises the cap. See Usage Tiers and Rate Limits.
Auto-reload, which buys a pack when your balance runs low, is coming soon.
Who can do what
Members with the Billing role or higher can buy credit, see invoices and set the spend limit. Others see the balance but can't pay.
FAQ
Is API credit the same as usage credits in the Torki app?
No. App usage credits (Settings → Usage in the Torki app) are a separate balance with different packs. One can't pay for the other.
Does promotional credit raise my usage tier?
No. Your tier counts only credit you bought.
Can I get a refund for unused API credit?
There is no self-serve refund. Requests follow the Refund Policy and are reviewed by the team: contact support@torkiai.com.
I paid but the credit hasn't appeared.
Credit is added when the payment is confirmed, usually within seconds. If it still hasn't appeared after a few minutes, contact support with the payment details from Payments and invoices.
