Dark & Light Mode
Overview
Torki has three theme settings: Dark, Light and System.
- Dark mode — the default. Easier on the eyes in low light.
- Light mode — a bright interface for well-lit rooms.
- System — follows whatever your operating system is set to, and switches with it.
Get started
1. Open the sidebar menu
Click the ⋮ button next to your name at the bottom of the sidebar.
2. Choose Theme
Pick Theme from that menu, then System, Light or Dark from the Appearance submenu. A tick marks the one in use.
There is no theme control in Settings. The ten Settings tabs are Account, Voice, Data Controls, Security, Beta Features, Billing, Usage, Connectors, Skills and Memory — none of them is Appearance.
Good to know
Your choice is remembered on that device, so you can run dark on a laptop and light on a desktop.
The interface adapts throughout — the chat area, the sidebar, the settings pages, and all modals and panels.
One exception: the Code view inside Canvas always uses a dark editor theme, whichever theme you pick.
FAQ
Does my theme follow me to another device?
No. It is stored per device, so set it once on each.
Why is the Canvas editor still dark in Light mode?
The code editor is hard-wired to a dark syntax theme. The rest of Canvas follows your choice.
