How Usage Limits Work
Torki uses a percentage-based usage system to ensure consistent quality for everyone. Instead of fixed message counts, your usage is tracked as a percentage that fills up as you use each feature and resets automatically on a schedule.
Usage Categories
Your usage is tracked across four categories, each with its own meter:
Premium Models (Stellar & Cosmos) — These are Torki's most powerful AI modes with extended thinking and maximum depth. Usage resets approximately every 4 hours. Free plan users have access to Pulse and Orbit modes only.
Kvora Image Generation — Creating images with Torki's Kvora engine. Usage resets daily at midnight.
Voice Conversations — Real-time spoken conversations with any of Torki's 7 voice companions. Usage resets approximately every 4 hours.
Deep Research — Multi-query analysis that searches and synthesizes information from multiple sources. Usage resets daily at midnight.
Reading Your Usage
On the Usage tab in Settings, you will see glass beakers showing your current usage for each category. As you use Torki, the beakers fill up. The most active category glows with animated bubbles so you can quickly see where most of your usage is going.
The Current session bar at the top shows your overall usage across all categories combined, giving you a quick snapshot without checking each beaker individually.
What Happens When You Hit a Limit
When you approach the limit for a category, Torki lets you know. You can either wait for the automatic reset or upgrade to a higher plan for more generous limits. You are never charged extra — limits simply pause that category until the next reset.
Reset Schedule
Limits reset automatically with no action needed from you:
- Premium Models and Voice — Reset approximately every 4 hours
- Kvora Images and Deep Research — Reset daily at midnight
Higher Plans, More Room
Each plan tier comes with progressively more generous usage limits across all categories. If you frequently hit your limits, upgrading gives you significantly more capacity. See Subscription Plans for details on what each tier includes.
