Changing Your Email
To change the email address associated with your account:
- Go to Settings → Account
- Click on your current email to edit it
- Enter your new email address
- Verify your current email by entering the OTP code sent to it
- Verify your new email by entering a second OTP code sent to the new address
This two-step verification ensures that you own both email addresses and prevents unauthorized changes. The change takes effect after both codes are verified.
Changing Your Password
To change your password:
- Go to Settings → Account
- Find the Password section
- Enter your current password
- Enter your new password and confirm it
- Click Save
Choose a strong password with a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols.
Social Login Users
If you signed up using Google, Apple, or Microsoft Sign-In, you do not have a password by default. You can add a password from Settings to enable email-based login as an alternative sign-in method. This gives you a backup way to access your account if you ever lose access to your social provider.
After adding a password, you can sign in with either your social account or your email and password.
