Ask Torki anything
Type a question, watch the Thinking Process build, and get an answer you can stop, regenerate, copy or export.
Everything on this page works on the Free account the sign-up creates, with one real limit and one real lock. Free gives you 25 messages in a rolling five-hour window; when they run out you get a sheet headed "You've used your messages for now", which tells you when the window resets and what an upgrade would give you, rather than an error. Of the four modes, "Pulse" and "Orbit" are on Free; "Stellar" and "Cosmos" carry a padlock and unlock on Lite ($6/mo) and above. How much of a conversation Torki carries forward is shorter on Free than on the paid plans. The Thinking Process, Stop, Regenerate, Copy, Read aloud and Download PDF all work on a Free account with no upgrade — though Regenerate spends one of your 25.
This is the plain chat turn: nothing attached, no tools switched on. Signing up is a form with a name, an email, a password and a Terms box, then a code Torki emails you to enter on the next screen, then a short set of setup questions before you reach the app on the Free plan. What follows is everything that happens between typing a question and having an answer you can keep.
How it works, step by step
Open a new chat
In the sidebar, click New Chat
— with the sidebar open, that row carries a Ctrl+N
chip. Type your question into the composer, whose placeholder reads Ask anything
. Enter sends it; Shift+Enter starts a new line instead.

The pill next to the composer opens a dropdown headed TORKI FREE

The chat takes its name from the opening of your first message, and the send arrow gives way to a square Stop button with the tooltip Stop generating

. How many rows you get depends on the question — a web search or a connector adds its own — and the wording of every row follows the mode you picked.
Stop when you have seen enough
Press Stop and the words already written stay on screen — and stay in the conversation after a reload, saved as a partial answer. Stop before the first word arrives and there is nothing to keep.
Use the answer
When the answer settles, the Thinking Process stack folds into a single line above it, and a row of six buttons appears underneath: Like

Before you start
The things people hit on their first try, so you do not have to find them the hard way.
The Thinking Process rows do not open onto reasoning
Each row is clickable and has a chevron, but the rows carry a label and a timer and nothing else — open one and no body appears. They tell you which phase ran, not what Torki thought, and the folded line counts the phases rather than promising a fixed set of them.
Stop keeps the words, not the phase list
The text already written survives a reload, but the folded Thinking Process line above it is kept only for answers that finish, so a stopped answer comes back without it. Press Stop before the first word and nothing is saved at all — your message is left with no reply under it.
Regenerate spends a message and overwrites
It rewinds to your question and answers again: the old answer is not kept beside the new one, everything after it in the conversation is dropped, and it costs another message from your allowance.
The Share under an answer is not the one that works
That button sits in the six-button row but does nothing when you click it. Sharing happens per conversation, from the ⋯ menu on the chat in the sidebar.
Code arrives folded
A code block in an answer opens collapsed — you see a header bar with the language name, a chevron and a copy button, and click it to reveal the code.
